Bloomberg reports that Netflix and Arrested Development production company?Imagine Entertainment are currently negotiating to renew the cult TV show back for a fifth season. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said earlier this year that viewership for the revamped Arrested Development exceeded his expectations so it?s not surprising that the company wants to bring the show back for another round. Netflix has made waves in the entertainment industry by developing a new model for television distribution that makes entire seasons of shows?available all at once so that users can stream them as quickly or slowly as they?d like. Netflix?s most popular orignal show, House of Cards, was a big hit for the company and quickly earned back Netflix?s $100 million investment?in a matter of weeks.
