[Diet]
I do not follow a diet. Just lots of carbs! Only water and 100% juice. Lots of meat and i eat junk foot and foods cooked in oils.

Let's see, it's been crap, as I've been all busy with my family and my house is a mess and all kinds of stuff like that. But generally...

Ice skating from 12-1:20, usually some coffee/energy drink before skating and that's it. Sometimes if I'm lucky I'll have some eggs.

At night sometime, I'll lift weights, usually I'll do snatches, pretty much obsessed with snatches, though I suck at them and have poor technique. Then either squats or deadlifts, used to do a lot of clean and jerks. I squat Olympic style now, use less weight that way, though. I feel it's more helpful for skating, especially if I start doing sit spins and whatnot. Let's see, I do overhead presses, standing strict presses. Hard to get the weight up on those, it's so frustrating, I can seemingly always get my squat or deadlift up by like 20lbs a month easy, and then my overhead press using the same routine (of basically me f***ing around doing whatever I feel like that day) has gone up like...10 in 8 months? Let's see, I try to do pistols, too, but my balance sucks for pistols, but it's something I eventually need to learn to do for skating purposes. Occasionally, not as much as I used to (I say not as much as I used to for everything, because everything is a mess right now in my house, literally and figuratively) I did a lot of plyo jumps, box jumps, one leg jumps, etc. I also used to do punching bag work (I did that when I first started out, before weights) and lost interest/didn't make time for it anymore. OH! Last but not least, I do lots of slideboard. Usually I go on it without weights to warm up, then I go on it for 3-5 minutes at a time with 15s, occasionally 20s in each hand, so it turns into basically a skating farmers walk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MY_4pjozF1w That's a slideboard.

As far as my diet. Lame. Diet, sleep, and stress affect me the most of all things in my life, and they all go interchangeably. I'm kinda constantly trying to tweak it to be better. At the advice of some posters on here, I've been cutting out carbs for the most part, and feel much better. I found out rye bread and me agree, but majority wheat bread and me don't. So this week, as a pretty "optimal" diet, it was 5 strips of bacon, 2 eggs, a patty of breakfast sausage, and then pan toast made with bacon grease. That was "brunch" I guess, and then for second meal, similar smaller meal like that. Then dinner, a 1/4-1/3 head of cabbage, and 3-4 links of Italian pork sausage cooked in water with spices and a bit of spaghetti sauce (with dat dere soybean oil in it, yay...) This seems like a good diet for me, as the fat content means I don't get hungry very quick. That, and it gives me more cholesterol to make hormones. My problem eating a lot of carbs is I eat a ton of food. I'm the type of person that can eat a large pizza and then still eat more like an hour later. So so far, this seems like a decent diet, but as it's said "everything works...for a while." Also did it a bit on the advice of the crazy (but cool) man Frank Yang, he said when cutting he just needed to drop carbs.

My big problem dietwise comes from the fact I live with my family (only mother and sisters), and don't have a job. So my mom buys all a bunch of processed food and then just tells me "You can get $20 worth of stuff for the week" so since I don't eat the processed food, I can't really eat very "balanced" like that. I don't have much for supps, either, cheap crappy multivitamins, fish oil pills, and b vitamin pills, and that's about it. I've had whey protein like twice, meanwhile my family buys like $30-40 worth of bottled water a month. Occasionally I take ginseng, too, again, cheapest crappiest grade pills of it from the dollar store. So yes, I could go on forever about how insane my family's nutritional and general money thought process is, but yes.

With a name like 1000knives, I never pictured you ice skating lol Nice routine though! This is a light routine for me, so I guess you could say Im slacking too! What I need to do is double up the work, intensity, and reps/weight that I am doing now!! I probably hit a plateau on my gain since my work out is practically non-existant! makes me feel like a piece of crap... like i am not working hard enough!!

On a side note; carbs are good for you! It is a big myth that you need to cut them out of your diet to get toned/cut up. Along with the myth of lactic acid being the culprit of sore muscles. Which is far from the truth!! Hydrogen ion is actually responsible and the body needs carbs when you work out. that is the energy source for exercise and not to mention that the body needs a certain amount of carbs a day or it will eat the muscle and do other nasty stuff!

It is actually a very interesting but complex process! I had to learn it while i was competing in boxing for the sole purpose of being able to cut the proper way! I walk around at about 190-195 if i dont exercise. If i do, like now, I tend to weight in the 205-210 area. Im 210 now. Point is, I would have to cut down to 160. its a lot of weight that would have to be cut properly! getting rid of fat deposits isnt easy man lol

What got you into that olympic style exercising and dead lifts. Whats that all for, brute strength or something? Isolation of the lower body?

I love food to much man to go on a diet lol Ring dings and pizza and ice cream and onion rings... speghetti lol Im a fat person stuck in an athletic body lol

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BELIEVE IN SUPPLIMENTS!!!!!! They are unnatural and evil! I believe everything should be done naturally!! I dont even take aspirin. TO each their own though 1000knives!

OP, are you in good shape? If so, were you always in good shape and this is just to maintain? Or are you in poor shape and have seen improvement/no improvement.

I've got a potbelly I'd like to get rid of. I don't do much of anything in the way of exercise. The rest of my body is quite lanky, it's not a proportional fat that I see in other people (which could actually work to their advantage sometimes because they "look big").

I look scrawny but with a sandbag above my waist. Any tips or suggestion to get rid of it? How long will it take?

Jersey representing! I would say i am in pretty good shape! I'm 210 and have around 14% body fat. What I am chasing now is slow progress. If I double up, then I will be cutting at a decent pace! Which I plan on doing! For some reason I love exercise!! Its such a challenge but so freaking rewarding. You get to push yourself beyond your limits and it feels great!! I get high from exercising! A natural high.

But If I were you, I would start jogging!! Also, do some core exercises with light weights or lots and lots of walking with light dumb bells while you walk and curl them as you walk! The most important thing is that you need to do something. Anything is better than nothing!!! And the more the better!

ME while I was boxing. I weighted 165lbs and woked out 6 hours a day 5 days a week.

Me now

Me boxing:

Show off!

But seriously, thanks for the advice, I'll start jogging. But I might be self conscious walking around with weights in my hands.

About how long, if you had to guess, to work off a belly with this method?

Trout, Trumbo each hit 2 HRs in Angels' win

Associated Press Sports

updated 10:58 p.m. ET June 28, 2012

TORONTO (AP) - Even as the pressure mounted in the ninth inning, Angels closer Ernesto Frieri couldn't wipe the smile off his face.

Rookie Mike Trout and Mark Trumbo each hit two-run homers Alberto Callaspo added a solo shot as Los Angeles beat the Toronto Blue Jays 9-7 on Thursday night for their 14th victory in 18 games.

Frieri's 10th save in as many chances was his most difficult yet, as Toronto loaded the bases against him in the ninth with back-to-back singles and a walk.

The two hits off Frieri were the most he's allowed in any of his 23 outings since joining the Angels, and the first time he's allowed consecutive hits.

Frieri, who has not allowed a run since his May 3 trade from San Diego, said AL hitters have started looking for the fastball against him.

"They're ready for me," he said. "They're looking for fastballs all the time now and they know that I throw it a lot."

Jeff Mathis and Brett Lawrie singled on fastballs to begin the ninth. That's when Frieri got fired up.

"When the crowd got loud, I got excited," he said. "I was smiling. Nobody out, men at first and second I was like, `I like this. I've got to get out of here, man. It's going to be fun when I get out of here, so let's do it."'

Frieri struck out Colby Rasmus, then loaded the bases by walking Jose Bautista on a 3-2 pitch. He ended it with a slider, not a fastball, getting Edwin Encarnacion to ground into a game-ending double play.

"A perfect pitch in the perfect situation," Frieri said.

Angels manager Mike Scioscia credited second baseman Howie Kendrick and Albert Pujols at first for their roles.

"That double play was not easy," Scioscia said. "Howie hung in there to get rid of it and Albert made a great pick."

Trout went 2 for 5 to raise his American League-leading average to .345 as the Angels, who have won 25 of 33 overall, improved to 14-1 in their past 15 road contests.

"He's brought some great energy since he's been up here," Pujols said of Trout.

Bautista hit his major league-best 26th homer, a three-run drive in the fifth, but it wasn't enough as the last-place Blue Jays lost their third in a row.

Pujols had four of Los Angeles' 14 hits as the Angels continued to pound opposition pitching; they've scored 64 runs in the past eight games. For Pujols, it was his first four-hit game since signing with Los Angeles last winter.

"If we're going to reach our goal, our lineup has to flow like this," Scioscia said.

Dan Haren (6-7) allowed six runs and seven hits in six innings to win consecutive starts for the first time since May 29. Haren, who walked one and struck out three, improved to 5-0 in seven career starts at Rogers Centre.

LaTroy Hawkins worked the seventh and Scott Downs got two outs in the eighth before Frieri finished it off.

Brett Cecil (1-1) lost for the first time in three starts this season, giving up eight runs and 10 hits in 5 1-3 innings. He walked two and struck out a season-high six.

"When he left a pitch up over the plate, they didn't miss it," Blue Jays manager John Farrell said.

Callaspo opened the scoring with a home run in the second, his fifth, but the Blue Jays answered in the bottom half on Yunel Escobar's RBI groundout.

Toronto's Jeff Mathis hit a leadoff homer against his former team in the third, but the Angels reclaimed the lead with three in the fourth. Pujols led off with a double and Trumbo followed with his team-leading 19th homer. Kendrick walked, went to third on Callaspo's single and scored on Peter Bourjos' sacrifice fly.

The Blue Jays cut it to 4-3 in the bottom half on a sacrifice fly by Rajai Davis, but Kendrick restored the two-run cushion with an RBI single in the fifth.

Bautista erased the advantage in the bottom half with a booming drive into the second deck in left. The homer was Bautista's 14th in June, extending his team record.

Bourjos tied it with an RBI double and Trout chased Cecil in the sixth with a two-run drive that just cleared the wall in left, his eighth.

Toronto cut it to 8-7 on Lawrie's RBI single in the seventh, but Rasmus was thrown out trying to score from third on Bautista's grounder to short.

Trumbo added some insurance when he tripled home a run in the ninth against reliever Casey Janssen.

Mathis had four hits, matching a career high, and scored three runs for Toronto. He came within a triple of the cycle.

NOTES: Blue Jays RHP Henderson Alvarez, who left Monday's start at Boston with a sore elbow, threw before the game and remains on track to start Saturday, manager John Farrell said. ... Angels RHP Jerome Williams (respiratory) threw a bullpen session before the game. Williams went on the DL June 19 after suffering an asthma attack following a start against San Francisco. ... Fans cheered and the game was briefly halted with Callaspo batting in the fifth when a pigeon walked across the field between the mound and home plate.

HBT: Larsen's perfect game jersey up for sale

There are a lot of game-worn jerseys out there on the?memorabilia?market. Kind of hit and miss if you?re interested in exactly where that jersey has been as opposed to who wore it when. I mean, sure, it?s Mickey Mantle?s jersey, but maybe he wore it on a Sunday he was out of the lineup with a hangover?

Wait, that would make it more awesome, not less. But you know what I mean. ?Anyway, you won?t have a problem if you?re interested in this one:

The?baseball?jersey worn by New York Yankees legend Don Larsen when he pitched the only perfect game in World Series history will soon be available for auction.

Steiner Sports Memorabilia is conducting the auction in the fall. They say a bidding war is expected for the one-of-a-kind jersey. In May, a jersey worn by Babe Ruth sold for more than $4.4 million.

That?s a serious piece of memorabilia. One of the most famous games ever. Not many like that come on the market, I?d reckon.

The Chrome application released Thursday is the latest volley in the escalating rivalry between Google and Apple, the maker of the popular mobile devices.

Google's attempt to supplant Apple Inc.'s own Safari browser comes a day after it unveiled its plans to sell a low-priced tablet computer to compete against the iPad and Amazon.com Inc.'s Kindle Fire.

The arrival of Chrome on Apple's mobile operating system comes a month after Yahoo Inc. released a browser called Axis for the iPhone and iPad.

Chrome, though, is already dueling with Microsoft Corp.'s Internet Explorer for the bragging rights as the world's most popular browser.

Google Inc. revealed Thursday that Chrome now has 310 million active users.

21 EBay Inventory Management and Online Selling Tools ? SMB ...

In the fourth quarter of 2011, eBay Marketplaces reported 100 million active users worldwide. According to eBay on its marketplace a woman?s dress sells every 8 seconds and someone buys a cell phone every 5 seconds. ?

EBay is still a very popular buying and selling platform and used by many different types of sellers ? SOHO ecommerce owners, part-time eBay enthusiasts and large businesses. Different sellers need different eBay tools.? While eBay offers its own listing tools, you may find ? like many other people do ? that eBay?s tools don?t provide the listing features you need; for example, listing your inventory across multiple auctions sites in addition to your own Web store.

Many of the inventory management and multiple-channel selling tools for eBay sellers we list below offer a free trial, so you can try different eBay tools to see which ones best suit your business needs before you make a cash investment.

Even if you sell on eBay and make a profit, many sellers prefer to manage their own off-eBay Web store and list the same products on other sites such as Amazon or eBay alternative sites.? The problem is that manually tracking sales across multiple channels and removing products from one online listing when it sells elsewhere is not a good business strategy.

Inventory management and multi-channel ecommerce software can help you to create your own online store if you don?t have one and synchronize your inventory and stock levels across all the places you do business. Here are 13 options to help you better manage a multiple channel selling strategy for eBay.

1.? AuctionBlox eMarketConnect provides access to eBay and Amazon.com from your existing online store. By connecting your store with eBay, AuctionBlox allows you to list your products on eBay and to process checkout in your own store. CRE Loaded, oscommerce, Zen Cart and Magento art software is supported. ?AuctionBlox Storefront pricing starts at $99/month.

2.? AuctionSound is eBay auction-management software that helps sellers manage eBay consignment and online inventory. AuctionSound provides image hosting, eBay templates and consignor-management and reporting tools. Pricing starts at a $24.99/month; free 30-day trial.

3. BigCommerce lets you create your own Web shop, plus you can sell on Facebook and eBay.? Extra features include multi-channel retailing, mobile commerce, SEO, and easy upselling. Pricing starts at a $24.95/month.

4.? ChannelMAX is an inventory-management service that lets you create a Web store plus list your inventory to multiple online marketplaces including eBay, Overstock and uBid. You can schedule listings, create listing templates and more.? Pricing starts at $24.99/month.

5.? DesignCart is an online, hosted shopping cart designed for a small to mid-size business that wants to sell products on the Web. It works on any hosting platform and is eBay compatible. DesignCart provides capability to list and complete payment for your eBay auctions. Winning bidders will be presented with an add-button via email, and upon successful payment, the cart will update the eBay auction status automatically. Pricing starts at $18/month; free 14-day trial.

6.? Infopia offers SaaS (Software as a Service) ecommerce solutions including a Marketplaces product to build a multi-channel business by optimizing product sales across your own website and online marketplaces like eBay and Amazon. Sellers can manage all online inventory, marketplace listings, and orders from one place.? Contact Infopia for pricing details.

Jay Greeson: Football's playoff plan still lacking

The group of college presidents approved the four-team playoff model this week. It will take affect in 2014, and there was mention of a 12-year commitment to this plan. You may have heard about it; it was in most of the papers.

Everyone wanted a playoff, yet this feels so anti-climatic, so disappointing. It's like opening a sweater on Christmas. Sure it's a gift and the thought was nice and appropriate, but where's the X-Box games or a new Titleist pitching wedge.

College football fans opened a gift with the announcement of a four-team playoff on the horizon, but that gift was four teams too small. And 12 years? Really, 12 years? Sweet buckets, three presidential terms of snug sweaters and too tight decisions for a four-team draw.

Of course, it is fair to ask that if we wanted a playoff and are now unhappy with a playoff after about 14 hours after said playoff was announced then there's no pleasing us. Well, it would be fair to ask that, but it would be wrong and misdirected.

A four-team playoff is simply the lords of college football's manor giving the starving serfdom of fanhood a scrap from their table and expecting glorious applause of gratitude for their generosity. This is the worst type of plan; it's doomed two years before it starts. And it quite possibly could do what, until this very moment, was deemed unthinkable -- there's a very real possibility that a four-team playoff could make fans long for the good-old days of the BCS.

Don't think so? OK, play out last year's scenario: The four-teams that would have been in the field after the end of the regular season were LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma State and Oregon. That's no Wisconsin and Stanford, which is not a good start. Now what if Boise had not missed a 35-yard field goal in a one-point loss to TCU. And what if Georgia had not dropped a half-dozen passes -- including a couple of for-sure TDs throws that could have meant a two- or three-TD lead -- in the first half of the SEC title game.

If just those two things had not happened, who was your four? Oklahoma State, Oregon, Boise State and ... Alabama? That leaves out the team that was No. 1 for most of the season in LSU and the SEC champ.

"It won't be easy to pick those four teams," ACC commissioner John Swofford told reporters. "There may be some years where it's really clear, but more often than not if you're fifth or sixth, you're going to wonder, 'Maybe I should have been there.'"

And Swafford is a playoff-supporter and a crafter of the four-team playoff second-guessing the plan the day the plan was to be hailed as the plan of all plans. Well, the stuff has hit the plan.

Granted, there still are semantics to be determined and maybe there will be delighted smiles in the details. There were no announcements about the selection committee, which must be as open as a love-stricken teenager's wallet, and a transparent selection committee could go a long way to calming some of this anxiety.

Plus, the biggest shock is not the four-team format as much as the 12-year commitment.

There are three things I have said and believed from the very beginning. This must not damage the integrity of the regular season, this needs to be an eight-team field, and this has nothing to do with fairness or fans and everything to do with finances.

While it was expected that the power brokers of college football to disregard or be indifferent to the first two, we banked on the last sentence as the great equalizer between the wants of the haves and have nots and between the powerful and the passionate.

But 12 years? Most of the marriages that end in divorce don't last that long.

Everyone knew the currents were blowing to a four-team field, and believed that a four-team field for three years -- and with a $500 million per year TV price --would allow the big wigs to see the big checks that were out there. Then the escalation to eight teams and a $1 billion -- yes, billion with a B -- deal would be there for the taking.

Big Ten commissioner/apologist Jim Delany told reporters this was "the best new property to come on to the sports marketplace maybe in our lifetime."

He's right, and it's still only half as good as what could have been.

More from Delany of the playoff: "There will be a period of time of celebration. We were probably the last defenders of the BCS, and we'll be the first defenders of this. We'll be the last off the wagon on it too. We won't be calling for eight. We'll be defending four."

Of course you were Jim because you are the puppets of the powerful. And if you don't believe so, how can you justify being defensive of your plan on the first day of the "time of celebration?"

The four-team playoff is better than the BCS. It's just not as good as the best sport in the country deserves. And sadly, it appears it will be 12 years before it can be fixed.

8 Ways to Avoid Relationship Disasters on Facebook | 93.1 WZAK

By Dawn Papandrea

man on computer with woman in backgroundHere?s a stat to dislike: Nearly one-third of divorce filings in 2011 mentioned the word Facebook, according to a survey from Divorce-Online, a British legal service. ?You can?t blame Facebook for divorce, but it will exploit cracks that are already there,? says Charles J. Orlando, relationship expert and author of The Problem with Women? is Men. So does using Facebook doom your marriage? Hardly. Even Facebook founder Mark Zuckerburg?s status recently went from single to married. Before your marital status takes a turn toward ?It?s complicated,? try these expert strategies to protect your relationship. Photo credit: Thinkstock

1. Go beyond just being friends with your spouse.

Befriending your spouse and sharing your relationship status on Facebook are no-brainers, but go one step further, suggests Julie Spira, author of The Rules of Netiquette: How to Mind Your Manners on the Web . ?Both you and your spouse should be digitally proud of your marriage. So post your anniversary dinner photo together or a picture from a recent vacation,? she says. Orlando agrees, adding that not mentioning your husband is the online equivalent of not wearing your wedding band.

2. Consider sharing passwords.

Elizabeth Hanes of Albuquerque, NM, says she and her husband, Lee, know each other?s logins to everything, but not so they can snoop on each other. ?It shows that neither of us have anything to hide,? she says. It?s also practical. ?Once, a friend posted something inappropriate to Lee?s wall, but he couldn?t access Facebook from work so he asked me to delete the post for him,? she says.

That?s not to say that exchanging passwords is a must. ?Everyone needs personal space, both online and offline,? says Spira. ?While you might share a toothbrush, a little privacy and mystery is good for a marriage.? So even if you know each other?s logins, you should feel like you never have to use it.

3. Don?t be friends with exes.

People rarely have pure intentions when they seek out exes, says Orlando. His simple advice: ?Defriend, disassociate, disengage.? That?s because the protection of the Internet allows for more forward conversation, points out Karen Sherman, PhD, relationship specialist and author of Marriage Magic! Find It, Keep It and Make It Last.
?

Seeing what an old friend is up to, though, is part of the fun of Facebook, she adds. But-and here?s the important part-only if your partner is okay with it. If you know your spouse would be upset to see an old flame on your friends list, ignoring or rejecting a friend request is the right move. On the flipside, if you?re uncomfortable that your husband is friends with an ex, bring up the subject. ?Let him explain why they?re friends,? recommends Spira. ?Chances are, it?s not a big deal to him to add her to his many friends from the past.?

4. Avoid airing your dirty laundry.

Too many couples overshare their spats on Facebook, says Spira, ?and your friends don?t want to see the drama in your marriage.? Remember, posting about how your hubby annoyed you is like putting it on a neighborhood billboard.

Even when your intentions are innocent, posting about your partner can hurt feelings, as *Barbara of St. Paul, MN, found out. Her husband dropped off their son late to a birthday party. The birthday boy?s mom made a passive aggressive remark on Facebook about people not arriving on time, and Barbara apologized for her husband who slipped up on ?daddy duty.? ?*Steve didn?t like that he was made to look irresponsible when he was late because the place was hard to find,? she explains. ?Now I only post positive stuff about my husband,? she says.

5. Set rules together.

Your page may be your own, but you have to respect your mate, says Dr. Sherman. ?Be aware of one another?s sensitivities,? she advises. For instance, maybe you?re not thrilled that your husband is posting vacation photos of you in your bikini. Or he doesn?t like when you tag him in posts that share a strong political view. Discuss posting no-nos to avoid future conflicts.

6. Support each other online, but don?t let it replace how you communicate.

If you and your spouse gush about each other online, but then barely have a conversation when you?re in the same room, make an effort to connect IRL (in real life, that is!). ?People show their love in different ways. Some men talk, some men write. But never let anything substitute a real connection in your relationship,? says Orlando.

On a related note, it?s easy to get swept up in your logged-on life that you prioritize it over your marriage, says Orlando. ?It?s a common relationship infraction, but you have to learn balance so you don?t end up losing connection with the people you care about most,? he says. He suggests designating tech-free times in your home, whether it?s during dinner, after 8 p.m. or every Sunday.

7. Don?t post anything that can be misinterpreted.

?You can?t hear the sound of someone?s voice when reading a Facebook post,? reminds Spira. For this reason, err on the side of caution with your posts, especially when communicating with members of the opposite sex. A harmless remark can sound anything but. For instance, refrain from posting that a male coworker was ?great last night.? You?d know you?re talking about his client dinner presentation, but that?s not how everyone else will take it.

Even when you tread carefully, a spouse?s reaction to a Facebook exchange might surprise you. *Rachel from Central PA shared an innocent exchange she?d had with a colleague. ?My husband was infuriated-and he?s not even the jealous type! He decided that the guy was pursuing me,? she says. Rachel realized from that incident that no one but the sender truly understands messages? context and that words easily can be misconstrued.

8. Ask and answer questions about Facebook friends.

If you notice your husband in the arms of another woman in a photo, it?s natural to draw a conclusion, admits Spira. But giving the benefit of the doubt is important in a trusting relationship. ?It could be a buddy?s sister who jumped in the photo, not the woman who wants to jump into bed with your husband,? she says. Always talk to your spouse in person about anything online that bugs you.

Try something like: ?I noticed a post from Jennifer on your wall, but I don?t remember you mentioning her. Can you tell me a little about her?? Be direct, and you won?t come across like you?re firing off accusations.

Allow message recipients to leave feedback about your mobile marketing communications. This offers an excellent opportunity to connect more effectively and interact with your customers. Try to garner your prospects input whenever you can even if they want you to provide them more or to leave them be.

Make sure you thoroughly test your mobile website, exactly as you would your regular website. Try viewing from various browsers, and don?t forget to test the display of advertisements on your pages. There are many mobile devices on the market, and each one has its own screen size, browser and image resolution. Different mobile devices can make your ads and website look totally different. Avoid launching your marketing campaign without clear foresight. Get some feedback from your customers to find out how you can reach out to them. Are you looking to monetize your existing customers more or are you attempting to get long term customer retention?

When sending out a mobile marketing message, include a promotional code. Your audience will pay more attention to your campaign if it is perceived as a way to save money ? and you will generate more sales thanks to the coupons.

Independent mobile platforms require a home base or domain. Being mobile is a way to urge people to check out your home base, and also to stay in contact with those customers who are already avid visitors at your home base. Your business shouldn?t be based solely on a mobile platform.

Whenever you are holding an important online sale or promotional event, send a text message to all of the customers on your mobile marketing list reminding them of the occasion a few hours before it starts, as long as this time does not fall too late in the evening or too early in the morning. It will remind all your customers that there is something major going on, and they should go have a look at it.

QR codes are being used more and more on advertisements to appeal to the smartphone-using audience. The codes give access to your site, where you can offer coupons or special deals for those with smartphones. Make sure these codes are on the different printed material you provide. Including the QR code will help those customers who are truly interested about your service or products to quickly connect and gather more information.

Those who are best at mobile marketing progress slowly, step by step. That is what you should do too. In the course of expanding your marketing network and your social networking circle, you can progress through text to voice to video communication. Use every method you have access to.

No matter how advanced cellphones get, you should remember that web navigation is never going to be as easy on a phone as it is with a computer. Make sure that the mobile marketing campaign utilizes easy to navigate, simple websites. Although these may seem boring on a computer, they are perfect for your mobile customers, and they keep the access there for both types of users.

Offer coupons to both new and existing clients by utilizing Multimedia Messaging Service. Include promotional codes with the coupons you send. Codes that can be tracked can easily be linked to your online product pages. Established customers appreciate coupons as rewards, and they are also a great way to entice new customers.

One of the most effective methods of increasing your profits is to use mobile marketing. Nowadays, many people use their phones for downloading apps or browsing social networking sites. These are highly-visible areas for business marketing. Be visible to your target market.

There are a lot of things to learn about mobile marketing. It requires a lot of work and patience, but it will be worth it in the end to help promote your business. Use the tips above and you will soon see positive results.
