The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas declined marginally to US$ 105.77 /per barrel (bbl) on 17.07.2013. This was lower than the price of US$ 105.94 /bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of 16.07.2013.

?In rupee terms also, the crude oil price fell in keeping with the trend to Rs 6278.51/bbl on 17.7.2013 as compared to Rs. 6291.78/bbl on 16.07.2013. This was mainly due to decline in price in dollar terms. The rupee dollar exchange rate on 17.07.2013 slightly improved to Rs 59.36/US$ against Rs 59.39/US$ on previous trading day of 16.07.2013.????????????????????
