Vattanac Capital won at the second annual South East Asia Property Awards, taking home the Best Commercial Development (South East Asia) for the Vattanac Capital Tower.

The tallest skyscraper in Phnom Penh to date, Vattanac Capital Tower bested other new developments in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.

The Kingdom?s ultra-luxury resort Song Saa Private Island also received the Best Hotel Architectural Design Winner.

?We have seen some real world beating developments awarded here ? that really represent the full gamut of what South East Asia real estate has to offer,? said Terry Blackburn, CEO of awards organisers Ensign Media.

In December, Franco-Khmer construction company LBL received the Excellence Award conferred by the French-Cambodian Chamber of Commerce.

During its 20 years of operation in Cambodia, LBL has been involved in various projects including the construction of exclusive villas, luxury hotels, offices, residential buildings and embassies.

LBL is currently involved with Hotel de la Paix in Siem Reap, the construction of the Sokha hotel across the Tonle Sap from Phnom Penh, and the riverbank reinforcement work on Chroy Changva.
