Fire hoses are also fitted in fire trucks. Unlike the fire hoses installed in large facilities or structures, which can only be fitted to standpipes, the hoses installed in fire trucks can remain connected to the fire truck, water tankers, tankers containing flame retardants and of course standpipes or hydrants. Some retailer offering Sacramento fittings also sell hoses designed for staying attached permanently and making the process of fighting fire even faster.
