Lecturer in Psychology - HigherEdJobs

The College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Psychology invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position to begin in
September, 2013. We are seeking candidates with strong teaching experience and research excellence in the areas of Clinical Psychology,
Counseling Psychology and/or Community Psychology. Candidates should provide evidence of outstanding teaching skills and a demonstrated
research record is preferred. Candidates will teach in our undergraduate psychology major and, as needed, may also teach classes in our
Master's program in Applied Psychology, with concentrations in Industrial Organizational Psychology and Community Psychology. In addition,
successful candidates will value the University's Catholic identity, tradition, and spirit.

A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology is strongly preferred, although advanced ABD candidates will be considered if degree is completed by the start of this appointment. Candidates will be expected to advise undergraduate majors and graduate students, and must also possess a strong commitment to the integration of teaching and research. Candidates should also support Sacred Heart University's commitment to university service, community service, and the intellectual and ethical development of all students.
